Welcome to Lake Joseph Yacht Club. We are a relatively small and friendly club with 80+ Family members about half of which are keenly active. We are a sailing club, that’s’ social activities are somewhat informal, yet community based. Our course is steady on these four landfalls: 1. To provide a great safe environment for young sailors to develop their sailing skills. 2. To offer top notch sailing instructors at a variety of levels, in a variety of seaworthy vessels. 3. To keep club members informed and involved in club and community activities. 4. To provide a catapult to a world of sailing through competitive race program. L.J.Y.C. has been around for 31 years and offers a great opportunity for cottagers to get to know their neighbors and develop the skill of sailing on a friendly and/or competitive basis. This year we will be co-hosting the Big Sound Challenge, 420 Training Regatta July 6th -9th, please see our web page for further details. The ever popular Parent and Tot will also be offered this summer, along with the PCOC and Standard Boating course, taught by our own LJYC certified instructors. |
